Join Jekyll Island's Conservation Team for an all-things-alligator class at Horton Pond. During this hands-on experience you will learn about the American alligator's biology, behavior, and conservation while we demystify common misconceptions about these amazing reptiles. You will also learn about alligator research and monitoring on Jekyll Island and how it helps create a safe co-existence for alligators and people. At the end of your 45-minute class you graduate as an Alligator Advocate armed with a new understanding of how to safely enjoy these intriguing reptiles and how you can help support alligator conservation.
